Our Week (and a bit) So Far...
Last week, to wrap up our focus on Métis Week, we built Red River Carts out of cardboard recycling and other found materials. Our crafts turned out wonderfully! They're currently on display in the Learning Commons!
In Phys. Ed., we celebrated the end of our badminton unit by setting up the nets and having a final game. It was short, but lots of fun!
After that, we took a short break and played some dodgeball. What a great way to get moving! It was a thrilling game.
Finally, we've just started our basketball unit. We've covered dribbling and shooting so far. Next, we'll look at passing and layups.
For Science, we've been working on our Climate Change projects. We're making posters that are based on our research and we're preparing some speeches that we'll deliver as if we're presenting to the UN. Progress has been coming along and we're nearly ready to present!
